National Gendarmerie Squadron Leader ALI GARGA has died in a serious traffic accident on the National Highway 1 in BERTOUA, in the East Region.
The vehicle of this Senior Officer of the Gendarmerie violently hung in the rear position after colliding with a Public Works car on the pavement. Mr Garga died at the scene of the accident.
This death comes on the heel of the Dschang highway accident that cost the lives of 53 people, many burnt beyond recognition and 29 currently fighting for the lives, in the West Region.
