A boy has been brutally beaten to death by his uncle in Tiko, Fako division of the South West region. This sis said to have transpired while the uncle’s wife watched on Monday April 4.
The boy whose name MMI could not immediately get is said to have been caught eating in a neighbour’s house. The relatives accused of having beat the child to death are said to have been presented before the state prosecutor for Tiko.
A decision was later arrived at to bury the child at the office of the prosecutor. Meanwhile, the corpse is said to have been removed from the mortuary Thursday April 7 and transported to his native Modelle village in Menchum Valley subdivision in Menchum division.
The child was said to have been buried April 10. Meanwhile, the perpetrators of the act are currently under custody at the Gendarmerie Brigade in Tiko.
