2025 Presidential Elections: Lékie Asks President Paul Biya to Seek Another Term

Barely Midway through President Paul Biya’s term, the elites of the Lékie Division have launched calls for President Paul Biya to stand for another term come 2025.

The call was done in Monatelé, in the Center Region on October 31, 2021, in a political meeting held by the elites of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM.

They insist that their prime candidate for the next Presidential elections in 2025 remains President Paul Biya. To them, he is the ideal person to lead the country forward.

The calls were led by the Minister of State Property, Surveys, and Land Tenure, Henri Eyebe Ayissi.

Many political Analysts such as Dr. Fridoline Nke and Roger Justine Noah however believe that the Minister’s call for another term for President Biya is shameful.

Dr. Fridoline Nke commenting about it told Minister Henry Eyebe Ayissi “remember today that you are not the Lékié and we will not accept H.E Biya in 2025…”
