A 31-year-old woman by name Aristide has reportedly been died in Douala, Littoral region after she was assaulted.

She is said to have been attacked by unidentified men in the city of Douala.

Aristide, waitress at a snack-bar in Douala was reportedly assaulted while on her way from work.

According to the victim’s mother, her daughter was not alone at the time of the attack.

She was accompanied by some friends, we gathered.

“After work, she decided to pass by her meeting house with some friends before returning home. On her way back, we then received news that she was attacked” recounted the mother of the deceased.

The circumstances behind Aristide’s death have raised great controversy in the family.

The aunt to the deceased has expressed her dissatisfaction over the sad incident.

“How can thieves assault someone and leave her bag and phone intact? There was no blood on her wig nor on her bag, and they say she was strangled while dragging the bag? ” She questioned.

“We opened the boot of the car and I was the first to check her corpse out. I did not see any sign of blood. How can they then say she was stabbed?” She further quizzed.

Worried on the real circumstances sorrounding the death of their daughter, the family has demanded that a thorough investigation be carried out.

Meanwhile, the corpse of the lady has been kept at the mortuary of a protestant hospital in Bandjoun.
