57-year-old mother of three commits suicide by hanging in Douala

A woman by name Anastasie Feudjo has reportedly terminated her life by hanging at the Mabanda neighborhood in Douala of the Littoral Region.

According to reports, the body of the 57-year-old mother of 3 kids was found hanging at the end of a rope at her home in Rue des Palmiers.

Relatives have revealed that Anastasie hanged herself around the evening of Thursday May 12, 2022.

The elder brother to the deceased disclosed that she recently lost her husband.

His words, “It’s been about two months since we went to the village to bury her husband. I don’t know what happened. Last night, I called her but the network didn’t allow us to talk for long. But I was supposed to call her tonight. It was around 8 p.m. that they called me to tell me that my sister died by hanging even without telling me.”

Last night, the elements of the gendarmerie opened an investigations on the circumstances sorrounding such act.
