7 feared dead in Bombe Bakundu military raid

A military raid has taken place in Bombe Bakundu in the South West region of the country with several civilians said to be hurt

Soldiers during the raid on the village are said to have opened fire on young boys taking them by surprise. Locals say about 7 were killed during the incident.The raid and alleged killings come barely two weeks after a National Dialogue that was supposed to seek solutions to the ongoing armed conflict in the North West and South West regions.Similar raids have also been carried out in other villages in the regions with some torched to the ground.
