8 copses abandoned at Bamenda Regional Hospital mortuary

The director of the Bamenda Regional Hospital has called on the people of Bamenda and the entire region to stop at the regional hospital mortuary and identify some 8 corpses that have been abandoned at the hospital mortuary for months.

Speaking to CRTV Northwest during Friday’s 7:30am regional news, the director of the regional hospital, Dr Denis Nsame revealed that there are some 8 corpses that have remained unidentified for months with the oldest spending over a year at the mortuary of the hospital.

He says the corpses after autopsy reveals that majority of them have bullet wounds in them, indicating they were shot dead.

He equally revealed that the current anglophone crisis has resulted in the tradition of abandoned corpses at the mortuary.

The Bamenda regional hospital mortuary has a storage capacity of 200.

The director says the abandoned corpse, 8 in number might just be a pointer that more corpses might be abandoned with time.
