Accident kills pedestrian in Tiko on National Unity Day

It’s a dark National Unity Day in Tiko, South West Region of Cameroon after a speedy vehicle crushed a pedestrian to death.

The incident occurred along the Buea-Douala highway.

“A private car went off track after the bridge, bringing down a heavy tree and an electric pole,” a witness told MMI.

Our source added that the accident “wasted the life of one Pedestrian.”

The driver is said to be in critical condition.

The accident took place at the time when the May 20th march past parade was ongoing.
