Accidents leave passengers stranded along Mbouda-Babadjou road

Two travelers are reported to have registered minor injuries after a road accident yesterday evening along the Bamenda-Babadjou road.

This is said to have happened after a truck hit a 70-seater bus from behind.

Moments later, a cargo truck is said to have collided with a truck parked around the same area, injuring one person.

The travelers were forced to spend the night at the scene of the accident and only resumed their journey the following morning after another 70-seater bus was sent from Bamenda.

The stretch of road, it should be recalled, falls within the Bamenda Ring Road which has been at the center of controversy for years now.

Despite several promises, the government is yet to fully constructed the road as announced.
