Afghanistan: Teenager falls from plane, dies trying to flee from Taliban

In more news coming out of Afghanistan’s post Taliban takeover, a young Afghan footballer has lost his life after falling off from a U.S military plane while he was trying to flee away from the country.

Young Zaki, 19-year-old had played for the Afghan Under 19 national team, and he intended to pursue his dream as a Professional Footballer, a future which he deemed quite bleak under the Taliban leadership.

It is understood that he was hanging on to one of the planes landing gear while it was on flight. Unable to hold on to the plane due to the pressure he was under, he decided to release and fall to the ground.

His death was confirmed this afternoon and has shone more light to the actual situation in Afghanistan at the moment with the Taliban in control.
