Heads of Public institutions in the North West region have been advised to be consistent and up to date with their statistics considered to be very important in assessing and improving the quality of services provided to the public.
This was made known in an event to celebrate the 31st edition of the African Statistics Day in which it was revealed that in the last five years living standards in the region have significantly reduced.
In one of the presentations by a statistician in the North West, the majority of people in the region live below 600frs a day.
The SG at the North West Governors office Viang Mekala said statistics are vital in orientating governance and private initiatives to develop the region.
