A Month After the end of the Major National Dialogue, a recommended framework for the special status accorded to the North West and South West regions of Cameroon has been made public.
After due consultations, a special status working group released an 8-page documents containing 10 meant to protect the special identity of the people of the North West and South West regions.The special status will feature among other things; Elected Governors, House of assembly, House of Chiefs, Special Judicial system, revenue sharing, change in the country’s name and a special regional commission.Details are found in the document attached here below:-
