After student’s knife attack on principal:
YONA School Complex Y’de Risks Being Shut


The YONA School Complex in Yaounde risk being shut after a student used a knife to attack the school’s principal April 6.


The Minister of Secondary Education, Prof Nalova Lyonga, paid an impromptu visit to the institution. In the course of the visit, the Minister insinuated that: “The school does not meet the requirements of a school. It’s a private school in a private home that has been transformed to a school. That’s all I can tell you”.


She added that: ” But as far as our estimation is concerned, it has failed to meet all the requirements of a school, so we are very sorry about that. The ministry is going to take the adequate decision concerning this case “.

In the meantime , activities are still very operational at the YONA School Complex Nkolbisson
