All eyes on Minister Atanga Nji as Vision 4 rubishes NCC sanctions

Many are curious to see what actions the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji will do to pressmen defying sanctions by the National Communication Council, NCC.

This comes on the heels of a meeting last week between Minister Atanga Nji and NCC boss, Joseph Chebongkeng.

“I would like to be very clear. The media that do not want to apply the sanctions of the NCC will face the firmness of the law,” Minister Atanga Nji had warned.

“From today,” he added, “I will give instructions to governors, Senior Divisional Officers (SDO), Divisional Officers (DOs), to accompany the NCC in the execution of decisions taken.”

Among those slammed sanctions by the NCC is Vision 4’s Bruno Bidjang. Despite the suspension, he continued presenting TV programs undisturbed.

He has since made multi TV appearances, much to the defiance of the NCC. With the NCC having no powers to enforce the ban.

Many are now looking up to the MINAT Boss for a final verdict.
