The corpse of Kimbi Stephan has been deposited at the Nkambe district hospital mortuary after being stabbed to death last night.
Sources in Nkambe say Stephan was stabbed by a certain Gambo, an alleged member of a vigilante group in the town of Nkambe. This was after an argument in a bar, in the Ngwayu neighborhood of the town.
Family sources confirmed, the two were drinking together before the eruption of a scuffle that pushed Gambo to retaliate to a slap he received from Stephan with a knife.
It remains uncertain if he was truly a member of the vigilante group in Nkambe, but he is currently under police custody.
