Anglophone crisis: At least one soldier killed following separatist attack on Cameroon military convoy

At least one soldier has been killed following an attack on a military convoy by Ambazonia separatist fighters along the Balangi-Kumba road in the South West Region of Cameroon.

The attack took place on Thursday, February 16, 2023. England.

The military convoy is reported to have been providing protection to the Cameroon brewery company, Les boissons du Cameroun.

Several soldiers are reported to have sustained injuries from the attack.

These sporadic attacks have become a common characteristic of the conflict that has plagued Cameroon’s English-speaking regions over the last 6 years.
