Anglophone crisis: Cameroonian soldier’s father passes away three days after son’s demise in Kumbo

Media reports claim that the father of Tetang Amédée, a Cameroonian soldier murdered by Ambazonian fighters in Kumbo on September 13 has died.

Tetang Amédée was one amongst seven Cameroonian soldiers ambushed and killed in Kumbo, Bui Division, Northwest Region. It is revealed that the heartbreak which was caused by the late soldiers demise was enough to end his father’s life.

More reports have revealed that the deceased left behind a widow and a three-day-old infant.

The attack on Tetang Amédée and the other soldiers in Kumbo was just one amongst recent deadly attacks on Cameroonian soldiers in the Anglophone Regions of Cameroon.

The most recent happened yesterday, September 16, 2021, in Bamessing, Ngoketunjia Division by the dreaded Ambazonian General “No Pity.”

The Ambazonian fighters ambushed and killed at least 11 Cameroonian soldiers, and equally burnt two armoured vehicles which the soldiers were aboard.
