Another Pastor Prophesies Samuel Eto’o will sit on “the chair” in Cameroon

Pastor Orock Henry Betang, of Yaounde-based House of Prayer for All Nations, HOPFAN Church, has said “the chair has shifted” to Samuel Eto’o’s favour.

The message comes just two days after another preacher, Prophet Ferdinand Ekane of Rhema Ministry Mission said he saw a footballer becoming the President of Cameroon after some political chaos.

“Samuel Eto’o God said the chair has shifted to your favour. Don’t be afraid to sit on it. Before the shift, something terrible will happen. But I have prayed for him,” Pastor Orock Henry said in a post on Wednesday.

Although Betang did not further explain what he meant by “the chair”, many of his followers and fans, in their comments, believe he meant that Samuel Eto’o will become President of Cameroon.

Most of those who commented on the post said they were in support of Eto’o becoming the President of Cameroon because “he’s a good man”, one of them commented. But another commentator warned the man of God to stay out of politics.

Samuel Eto’o is barely three months in power as President of Cameroon’s Football Federation, a position which he grabbed from former president Seidou Mbombo Njoya to grab.
