The Archbishop of Bamenda, His Grace Andrew Nkea has called on christians in the archdiocese to practice the virtues of Peace, love, and hope.

Bishop Andrew Nkea made the declaration Sunday, April 17, at the Saint Joseph Metropolitan cathedral during Easter celebrations.

Easter celebrations at the Saint Joseph Metropolitan cathedral were a moment for christians to renew their faith and hope in Christ.

During the celebrations, His Grace Bishop Andrew Nkea called on christians of the region to be optimistic in their actions and remain peaceful.

“Like people of glory, we can never lose hope. We continue to hope for better days and we continue to put our trust in God”, His Grace Andrew Nkea told the christians.

A similar message was also echoed to the christians of PC Ntamulung where Rev. Ngwa Hosea, the officiating pastor called on the christians to endure their sufferings with prospects of liberation.

“Christ’s resurrection today is bringing some relief of the captivity in which we find ourselves and some hope to the desperate and after everything, liberation is ahead”, Rev. Ngwa Hosea said.

Celebrating Easter amidst the socio-political stalemate in which we find ourselves, religious leaders in the region have encouraged christians to pray without season and hope for better days.
