A convoy transporting goods that left Garoua Bulai Monday January 18th 2021 and was attacked by rebels thirty kilometres away from the border town.

In a voice message circulating on social media attributed to one of the truck drivers, he accuses the group BGFI company for letting the convoy depart from Garoua Bulai in the East region of Cameroon when the governments of Cameroon and that of Central Africa Republic have not resolved the security situation in the area.

The three people wounded have been transported for medical attention. Material damages were equally recorded in the attack.

It should be recalled that more than 1500 trucks have been stuck in the East region of Cameroon following rising insecurity in Central Africa Republic.
