Ayah Ayah Under Questioning At Gendarmerie Headquarters In Yaounde

Ayah Ayah Abine, President of the Ayah Foundation is currently being questioned at SED in Yaounde.

The humanitarian was summoned yesterday and was later told to return today at 10AM. His father, former Supreme Chief Justice yesterday said Ayah Ayah was being summoned “on the complaint of a certain Dr Success Nkongho against the Ayah Foundation”.

He also raised concerns on the fact that the Ayah Foundation had earlier filed a lawsuit against the said Dr Success Nkongho, a former Ambazonian activist who is now a regime apologist, but it is still pending.

”While the Ayah Foundation’s complaint against a Dr Success Nkongho and 5 others, filed before, is held in abeyance, the counter-complaint has taken precedent!!” Ayah Abine wrote on Facebook.

Before leaving for SED this morning, Ayah Ayah told MMI “darkness can never triumph over light. However long the night is, darkness can never triumph”.

“Anglophones”, he went on, “should not forget to remember the victims of Ngarbuh. They need justice “.

Weeks back the head of the Ayah Foundation took to social media stating that government was hatching plans to either arrest or eliminate him.

The Ayah Foundation has since the escalation of the crisis taken aid to thousands of Anglophones in need including those in neighboring Nigeria.
