The case pitting the Ayah Foundation against a number of physical and moral persons has been adjourned to 2021.
This was after a court session this morning.
Addressing the case, Ayah Ayah Abine, head of the Ayah Foundation said “at about 7:30am today, moments ago, our case against a group of moral and physical persons whom we refer to as the DALTONS, which persons accuse the AIF of buying, importing and supplying arms to ‘Amba’ boys, was adjourned to next year.”
This he added, was “on grounds that a certain Ernest Obama, can’t/hasn’t been identified.”
Despite lasting for close to a year now, the hearing of the case is yet to begin.
“It’s taking 10 months to identify a regime ally who is constantly on television, smearing people. We recall that our first lawsuit against these same people ‘disapeared’ in court,” wrote Ayah Abine.
“Just a matter of time & God is Time,” he added.
The Ayah Foundation dragged a number of physical and moral persons to court close to a year ago, asking that they prove claims that it was financing separatist fighters in the North West and South West Regions.
Despite the slow pace of the judicial procedure, the institution’s head has been summoned a couple of times by different security units.
The Ayah Foundation is one of the most prominent relief-providing organisations in the Anglophone regions where an armed conflict has been raging for four years today.
