Ayuk Tabe calls for collaboration from different factions

Separatist leader, Sisiku Ayuk Tabe has called on leaders of different separatist factions to unify in their ongoing cause.

In a letter to Dr. Cho Ayaba, Dr. Samuel Sako, Dr. Ebenezer Akwanga, Dabney Yerima, John Mbah Akuroh, Ntumfoyn Boh Herbert, he urged them to forget about what they want and focus on what they need.

“We have more in common than the minor issues that challenge and divide us … Our people are watching us; the International Community is watching us, and we are failing to conduct ourselves in a manner that reflects maturity and leadership…” He wrote.

Questioning them over what he terms self interests making them blind to the plight of citizens, he urges them to keep a legacy for posterity.

“The Journey ahead of us might still be very long. Negotiations, if and when they happen, will be very tough. Should we not focus our energies and resources on that which is important to helping us attain our Independence?” He asked.

He added that “… we don’t stand together for that which we want; the restoration of the independence of Ambazonia, we will always be begging for a few crumbs under the LRC table… Remember that if there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do us no harm.”

With these in mind, he noted that the way forward is to “… refrain from attacking or insulting others.”
