Babette Fadimatou Ahidjo, daughter of Cameroon’s first president dies

Babette Fadimatou Ahidjo, daughter of Cameroon’s first and former president, Ahmadou Ahidjo, has died.

She reportedly died today in Dakar, Senegal of heart attack, MMI has learned.

Ahidjo was buried at the Muslim Cemetery in Yoff, Dakar, where he still lies today — amid constant calls by opposition leaders and activists for his body to be returned to Cameroon.
