Bafut: Newly crowned Fon of Mambu makes visits kinsmen in Yaounde

By David Atangana

The newly-crowned traditional ruler of Mambu, a village in Bafut Subdivision in Mezam Division of the North West Region, has visited his subjects based in Yaounde, MMI has learnt.

HRH Fon Mbah Wanki AMBECHE II was welcomed by the Mambu community in Yaounde grouped under Mambu Cultural and Development Association, MASCUDA.

The visit, which took place on February 11, was the first outing of the monarch since he ascended the throne in December 2022.

Addressing the Mambu Community, the young traditional ruler called for unity among his kinsmen.

He nonetheless reminded them to uplift their tradition and work for the development of the village.

The visit, MMI gathered, was greeted with much fanfare and cultural display.
