Bamenda: Footballer Declared Dead, Found Alive on Burial Day

By Zera Nambu

Hadji Raisu, a player for local football club Dream Team FC, was found alive just hours before his scheduled burial, after being officially declared dead by medical professionals.

The news sparked both disbelief and jubilation in Bamenda this Friday morning.

Yesterday, reports surfaced that Raisu had passed away. The local Muslim community, upon receiving the news, began making arrangements for his burial, set for today.

However, as mourners gathered and awaited the transportation of Raisu’s body from Mbingo, a stunning revelation emerged: he was still breathing.

The circumstances surrounding Raisu’s initial “death” and subsequent discovery remain mysterious.

Authorities and medical personnel are investigating the events that led to the initial declaration of death.

Raisu is currently receiving oxygen and medical attention at the hospital, where his condition is being closely monitored.

The almost unbelievable turn of events has left people familiar with the story wondering. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
