Bamenda III: Councilor George Ambe passes on

The death has been announced of a Councilor of the Bamenda 3 Council in Mezam Division in the North West Region of Cameroon.

Councilor George Ambe is reported to have been confirmed dead Friday, April 16 shortly after he collapsed in the course of a council session.

Mayor Fonguh Cletus in announcing the demise of the Councilor says it’s a great lost to the municipality. The announcement left councilors shocked.

This is the second councilor in Bamenda III Councilor that has died since the beginning of the year.

As concerns the management and administrative account session per se, the mayor noted that despite security challenges, the council in 2020 was able to rehabilitate some roads in the municipality.
