Bamenda: Man lynched for stealing cables

A young man by name Blaise has been lynched by an angry mob in Mile 90, Bamenda, North West Region for stealing cables. 

According to local reports, Blaise was caught stealing cables on Sunday, July 9, 2023.

In a video that went viral on social media, he could be seen receiving vstrokes from a violent and angry mob.

“The situation quickly turned violent, and Blaise suffered a brutal beating that resulted in his untimely death,” reported Cameroon Spectrum Journal.

According to the same source,  Blaise was renowned in the locality for causing nuisance, among which were acts of theft and robbery.

“Blaise’s brother even obtained a visa for Dubai with the hope of eventually bringing him to the United States. However, fate had a different plan for Blaise,” our source furthered.
