Bamenda: Slain Journalist Anye Nde Nsoh – 26 – to be Buried Saturday, May 13

Bamenda-based journalist Anye Nde Nsoh who was killed on Sunday, May 7, 2023, will be buried on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

The burial is scheduled to take place in Mankon Bamenda, North West region of Cameroon.

This follows a burial program released by the family of the late journalist.

According to the burial program, Anye will be removed from the Bamenda Regional Hospital mortuary at 7 am followed by a viewing and requiem service at the family compound at Bagmande in Mankon.

He is expected to be interred at 1 pm the same day, as stated on the program.

The 26-year-old journalist was shot dead by Ambazonia separatist fighters.

Journalism associations, Trade Unions, and rights groups, in and outside of Cameroon have condemned the killing in separate reactions demanding an investigation and prosecution of the perpetrators.
