A military official popularly known as Papi Solo has been shot to death in his bar in Sisia Two, a neighborhood in Nkwen, Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon.
According to a resident of the neighborhood, he was shot thrice in the head after a group of unidentified armed men stormed his bar with a RAV4 vehicle on the evening of Thursday, November 17, 2022.
“We have now recorded three deaths this year in my quarter, caused by these same unidentified gunmen. Please we need military barack in Sisia two quarter Nkwen Bamenda,” a source told MMI.
“This man was the man protecting my quarter. Now he’s gone, we need a military barrack in the quarter if not we are all gone,” he further lamented.
The military official was taken to the mortuary pending burial.
Many have pointed accusing fingers at Ambazonian fighters whom they believe are the sole perpetrators of the act.
