Bamoun King Meets Chief of Akwa community in Douala

His Majesty Mouhammad-Nabil Mforifoum Mbombo Njoya, the 20th King of the Bamoun dynasty, met with the chief of the Akwa community in Douala on Thursday, July 20, 2023. The meeting was part of the king’s Littoral tour, which began on July 12, 2023.

The king and the aChief discussed a number of issues, including the preservation of Bamoun culture and heritage, the development of the Littoral region, and the promotion of peace and unity. The king also expressed his gratitude to the Chief for his hospitality.

The meeting was attended by a number of Sawa dignitaries and the president of the Bamoun Cultural Association.

This is King Nabil’s first visit to the economic capital after his ascension to the throne.
