BIR officer kills longtime lover in Mbanga over disagreement

A BIR soldier whose name we got as Suh Kenneth, has been accused of killing and burying his girlfriend who is a custom officer, Collette.

He had reportedly been in a relationship with Collete for over 7 years.

According to sources close to the deceased, Suh Kenneth was already married and a father of three kids before meeting Collette, keeping it a secret from her throughout their relationship.

Collette, according to her relatives was a successful Customs officer and had build estates and owned businesses around the country.

Having been involved in a relationship with Suh Kenneth, our informant states that she started having suspicions about him when she lost her dad and Suh Kenneth was less concerned over the whole affair.

“Collette later found out that the man had three children for a woman who also presented to an Official wedding certificate. When Collette confronted  Kenneth, he equally presented what was supposed to be a divorce certificate, but it looked really fake. That was when Collette called the relationship off,” said our source.

In the aftermath of that meanwhile,  Collette who had a leg complication travelled to Cotonou in Benin to treat the leg. She was reportedly picked up from the airport who then took her to Mbanga where he later killed her.

“After that, he pretentiously started calling family members and friends asking for the whereabouts of Collette. It was after that, that we the family members started searching for Collette. We later discovered that Collette had been killed and herb corpse found and buried in Mbanga, by government authorities” our anonymous source tells us.

Relatives of Collette also reveal that Suh Kenneth hurriedly went and took over Collette’s properties in Limbe. “We started suspecting him, so we followed up his calls. We consulted MTN and listened to some of his conversations. That was when we found out that he had known of Collette’s trip to Cotonou and that he indeed picked her up from the airport” he revealed.

Our informant equally mentioned that Suh Kenneth withheld Collette’s property documents and boldly denied seeing them when her relatives came to collect them so that her corpse could be exhumed and buried in one of them.

Suh Kenneth who was later arrested and detained in Mbanga reportedly bribed the registrar of the Mbanga prison with enough money, which has basically made his case literally unattended.

“I am really worried because from all indications, this is gradually becoming another case of injustice gradually being meted. Mr. Suh Kenneth through his relationship with Collette had amassed a lot of wealth and I fear he is gradually using this wealth to bribe his way out of prison”.

Family Members of Collette also say that a conspiracy is gradually being brought out which hold that he killed Collette unintentionally.

“What he’ s saying now is that he was driving in a car with Collette, wherein they had a disagreement. According to him, she came out of the car in motion and he ran her over” he revealed.

Our informant has however told us that the medical report showed that Collette was strangled and equally had wounds on her head.
