Updated: Bishop George Nkuo of Kumbo diocese kidnapped by Ambazonia fighters

Bishop George Nkuo of Kumbo diocese kidnapped by Ambazonia fighters this morning. He was taken at Kimar Hill in Sop Jakiri sub division in the North West region of Cameroon. A Kumbo base reporter says knows one knows where the bishop has been taken to. Some reports are indicating that he might have been taken to Kikaikom parish area.

Bishop Nkuo closed the parish temporary because of the kidnap of the Parish Priest of Kikaikom Parish, Fr. Dieudonne Bomye CMF, who was only released on August 10, 2019 after having been tortured.

Based on information from the Bishop’s house, the boys are asking Bishop Nkuo to reopen the parish.

This is a developing story.
