Bishop Oyedepo’s son resigns from Living Faith ministry.

Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, the second son of Bishop David Oyedepo, has resigned from his father’s Living Faith Church Worldwide to start his own ministry.

Church Gist, a popular Christian platform, reports that Isaac recently explained his calling in an interview conducted by Pastor Steve Ogah on ‘The Bridge’. Pastor David Oyedepo Jr. was featured in the interview, and the platform actively covered it.

Isaac recently said, “My God-given mandate is to reclaim a generation and to ensure this generation sees the fire of God’s revival in our generation.”

In May 2007, Kenneth Copeland ordained Isaac and his older brother, David Jr., as pastors.

He graduated from Oral Roberts University and has been serving as the resident pastor of Living Faith Church International, Maryland, USA, since October 2018.

Many are wondering if he aims to and is capable of matching his father’s legacy within the Christian ministry.

His father, Bishop David Oyedepo, is an acclaimed author and publisher and has written over 70 titles, apart from periodicals. He also chairs and publishes Dominion Publishing House (DPH), the publishing arm of his ministry. To date, DPH has circulated over 4 million prints. God’s grace has established Covenant University, Landmark University, Faith Academy, and Kingdom Heritage Model Schools to equip the youth for impact.

Oyedepo asked Isaac to return to Nigeria as a minister in the Nigerian church after he had served as a pastor of Living Faith Church in the United States.

The Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners Chapel, recently appointed him as the Global Youth Pastor.

David Oyedepo moved to Lagos, the former capital of Nigeria, in September 1989 to start a new branch of Living Faith Church (AKA Winners Chapel) after receiving instruction from God to reach out to the population in Lagos. The church originally started in Kaduna. The international headquarters of Living Faith Church in Lagos grew, attracting a constantly increasing flow of crowds that spilled over to adjacent roads and the decks of nearby uncompleted buildings. People were compelled to stand for hours to listen to his teachings. God instructed the building of the renowned Faith Tabernacle.

Living Faith Church has not yet confirmed the resignation of Oyedepo’s son.
