Supporters of President Paul Biya have survived an attack today in France as they celebrated the 40th anniversary of his ascension to power.
They were marking the day in Paris, reports say, when anti-Biya protesters, known as Brigade Anti-Sadinards (BAS) stormed the venue.
Several persons are said to have sustained injuries.
Preliminary reports accuse the BAS of conducting the attack.
The anti-Biya protesters has carried out many similar attacks in the diaspora, targeting pro regime personalities.
