Bloody Weekend In Bamenda as six Killed

Residents of Bamenda in the North West region have for the past days been living in fear and uncertainty.This comes after six different young persons were killed in different instances in the town.One killed in Bambili was Teddy Matthias, a Biology student of the Higher Teachers Training College, Bambili.Residents say he was killed around 7pm yesterday.He is said to have been shot after resisting a kidnap attempt by Amba boys who visited the hostel where he lives.Two boys yet again were shot dead earlier today at Nagah junction still in Bamenda.Eyewitnesses claim the act was carried out by men in military attire.Just around the same time, Teh Duplex a mechanic was also on his way to work still by suspected members of the armed forces.This comes to add to the hundreds killed as a result of the ongoing armed conflict that has been raging in the North West and South West regions for years now.
