The deadly Nigeria-based terrorist group has struck yet again taking two Cameroonian girls into captivity.
The incident happened Sunday at about 2am in the village of Mavari, locality of Kerawa in Kolofata.
Fortunately for the people of Kerawa, though the terrorists were heavily armed when they invaded the village, they did not engage in heavy damage as they are accustomed to doing on each of their attacks and invasions of the region.
The two teenagers taken by the terrorists are aged 14 and 15. Their whereabouts remain unknown. The security and defense forces were alerted about the presence of the attackers, but they arrived at the scene too late when the attackers had already taken the girls away, leaving their parents in complete desolation.
Ever since the kidnap of the girls yesterday, the traditional rulers of the area have called for prayer sessions from all the Christian and Muslim faithful for their release.
In a bid to release these girls, members of the vigilante group have equally launched a manhunt to track these terrorists.
