Cameroon comedian, Cabrel Nanjip Nyamton dies in accident
Cameroonian renowned comedian Cabrel Nanjip Nyamton has died in a ghastly road accident this Thursday, June 15, 2023.
The accident took place in Boumnyebel along the Douala-Yaoundé highway.
According to reports, “his car was violently hit by a truck on the road between Pouma and Edéa, and ended up in a valley.”
Cabrel was said to be heading to Yaoundé from Douala with his driver onboard — when the tragic incident occurred.
In a video which has now gone viral, he can be seen being taken out of his damaged blue car.
It is yet unclear what the condition of his manager is at the moment.
The Douala-Yaounde Road has been described as a death trap in Cameroon. Since the start of 2023, hundred of lives have perished on the road.
“Where are you heading to,” asked Aisha Kamoise, a renowned blogger on Facebook.
Cabrel has featured in dozens of series, movies and music videos in Cameroon.
He was at one point, the brand ambassador of MTN Cameroon and several other companies.
