Several shops have gone up in flames at the Camp Yabassi market in Douala, economic capital of Cameroon.
Fire fighters have arrived the scene to put out the fire whose origin remains unknown.
Traders on their part are struggling to save as much as they can from the ravaging flames. Dozens of shops have been affected.
Such incidents are very common in Douala market and other major cities.
