Breaking News: Former Ghanaian President Jerry John Rawlings is dead, aged 73

The death of former Ghanaian President Jerry John Rawlings has just been announced.

The former president is reported to have passed away, today, November 12, 2020, after a brief illness.

According to the Graphic Online, the former President had been on admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for about a week for an undisclosed ailment.

It is worth noting that former president Rawlings recently lost and buried his mother a few weeks ago.

Jerry John Rawlings was born in Accra on 22nd June 1947, to a Ghanaian mother and a Scottish father.
