Reports say two students have died after drowning in a swimming pool at a Buea-based hotel this evening, December 26.
Reports say the victims, a boy, and a girl, were students of Bilingual Grammar School Molyko, Buea, but have not been properly identified at the time of this report.
It is yet unclear whether they were swimming before drowning or whether they fell into the pool and drowned.
Their bodies were taken to the Buea Regional Hospital Annex Mortuary this evening, a witness has confirmed.
The incident occurs a day after Christmas celebrations on December 25, a day which was commemorated largely in serenity as Buea and other English-speaking cities still battle with insecurity.
