The Catholic University Institute of Buea, CUIB, has demonstrated another respect of it’s values embedded in cleanliness.
Staff, faculty members and students Wednesday, April 13, 2023, jointly carried out a cleaning exercise of it’s newly constructed campus — in what they call ‘general volunteerism.’
The building consisting of lecture halls and offices was constructed in the last eight months which is now ready for use.
“The cleaning is a participatory engagement. All the students have put their talents and skills together to ensure that we keep our campus clean,” said a lecturer after the cleaning exercise.
Thanking the students for turning out massively for making the volunteerism a success, he said, “The campus was built for them and they have to do their own part.”
