Buea Young girl found murdered
The population of Dibanda Mile 14 in Buea, South West Region of Cameroon woke up yesterday with the shocking discovery of the lifeless body of a young girl.
The girl said to be a student of Government Secondary School Dibanda was found on the banks of the Benue stream, laying half naked.
“This young student of GSS was raped and murdered by unknown thugs,” a source stated adding that her hands were tied up with a rope with her head butchered.
The perpetrators of the gruesome act remain unknown at the moment.
Local authorities and law enforcement officers are yet to comment on the incident.
Crime has been on the increase across Cameroon, but recently the rape and murder of young girls has been rampant. MMI recently reported the rape and murder of the daughter of a traditional ruler in Yaounde.
