Buea: VC Announces UB Talent Challenge Competitions

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea has signed a communique urging members of the University Community (Staffs and Students), to fully participate in an upcoming Arts and Culture competition.

The event is slated to take place on November 24th, through 25th, 2021, at the Dorothy Limunga Njeuma (750), amphitheatre, from 10 am to 4 pm on both days.

Disciplines of contention and required number of winners, according to the document are; Fine and plastic arts (2 students), Choral music (20 students), Solo singing (1 student), Patrimonial dance (15 students), Stand-up comedy show (1 student), Street/Ballroom (8 students), Culinary Arts (3 students), and Miss UB 2021 (1 student).

“Students or students groups wishing to part-take in the competition, should register under their Establishments, on or before November 19th, 2021,” the release reads.

Noting that there shall be three levels of Cash prize awards ( 1st, 2nd, and 3rd) for winners in all competed disciplines.
