Cameroon Anglophone Crisis: Separatist Fighters in Bui ban Ndzeen Cultural activities for being sidelined.

Ambazonia separatist fighters have banned any future cultural manifestation in Ndzeen, a locality in Bui Division of the North West Region of Cameroon, MMI has gathered.

The move comes after village authorities sidelined armed separatists in the just-ended cultural manifestation.

Armed separatists reportedly offered to provide security during the festival but the offer was turned down by the Fon of Ndzeen.

“Amba boys have banned the display of Masqurades in Ndzeen. They are very angry that the Fon turned down their escort during the recent Cultural Festival” a source who opted not to be named for fear of reprisals told MMI.

Masquerades will henceforth, according to the information gathered not be allowed at any cultural manifestation, funerals, and other celebrations in Ndzeen.

Reports say the recent decision of the separatists adds to other unpopular activities in the area carried out against the same people they claim to want protect.

“People are wondering what these amba boys really want as many are already fed up with their activities in here, ” he added.
