The U20 Lionesses of Cameroon have beaten France 10-9 in a penalty shootout during their second match at the friendly Sud Ladies Cup Tournament in France.
Both teams resolved to penalties after their 3-3 draw during regular play time.
The U20 Lionesses are bouncing back from a 3-0 defeat suffered in their opening game at the tournament against Japan.
They are hoping for another win when they face Panama on Sunday, May 21, in their third and last game of the four-team international friendly competition.
The tournament kicked off in Avignon, France on Wednesday, May 17.
Coach Mike Ndoumou and his girls left the country on May 14 for Paris after the Indomitable Lions were called up to join host France, Japan and Panama for the competition.
