Cameroon: Car washer on the run after stealing 4 million from customer’s vehicle

A manhunt has been launched to find and arrest a young car washer who reportedly made away with the sum of 4 million (6595 USD) from his customer’s vehicle.

Nsangou Zena, who resides in Bonaberi, Douala, the commercial city of Cameroon, outsmarted his colleagues at the car wash point on Thursday, June 15th, 2023, and sneaked away with the money.

“When he found a small bag containing the money inside the car, he told his colleagues that he suddenly suffered a diarrhoea and escaped with the money,” said a source.

The car owner who had gone for a quick refreshment only returned to discover that her money had vanished.

Nsangou is nowhere to be found.
