Popular Cameroonian Tech Entrepreneur, Rebecca Enonchong is under custody at the Gendarmerie legion in Douala. Cameroon People’s Party, CPP President, Edith Kah Wallah has said Mrs Enonchong was never summoned and received no arrest warrant.
In the wake of Rebecca Enonchong’s arrest and detention, many have launched an online appeal for her release. The SDO for Menoua Division, West Region of Cameroon has said a joint funeral ceremony will be held to honour victims of the January 27 road accident at the Dschang Cliff. The ceremony will be presided over by the Governor of the West Region, Awah Fonka Augustine.
