A pupil of St Therese School in Kumbo was killed today by Government forces. The pupil is believed to have been caught in a cross fire between the military and the Ambazonian fighters in Kumbo.

At least three persons have been killed in a car accident along the Bagangté-Bafoussam road. There was a collision between a 70-seater bus belonging to Fodem Voyages and a little private car.



Separatist fighters have flogged and injured 10 construction worker in Fundong, North West Region. They had been working on a council road expansion project when the separatists got hold of them.

Excitement grips road users of the Bambui-Fundong road as rumours say traffic shall resume on the stretch tomorrow and stop Sunday evening. It’s not yet clear who has made the announcement.



The Registrar of the University of Buea, Dr. Ernest Molua has today been replaced via a presidential decree. The decree named Professor Eneke Essoeyang as the new UB Registrar.



South West Chiefs have requested for the University of Buea to decentralise its faculties by establishing them in the various Divisions of the region. The proposal follows a letter in which the chiefs oppose plans to open an annex of the university in Akonolinga.
