Cameroon: Entertainment industry mourns as young entrepreneur “La Mirage” quits stage

The Cameroonian entertainment industry has been plunged into mourning following the demise of a vibrant entrepreneur popularly known as “La Mirage.”

Mimi, as she is often called is equally known for her fervent support for Cameroonian Renowned artist Jovi.

She passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

Several reports have it that she died following complications related to kidney failure while giving birth.

“I’m not comfortable with the breaking stories anymore …La Mirage…Rip big mami” lamented popular blogger Bo Ris.

Alongside the popular ‘Mboko gang’, La Mirage had carried out a good number of humanitarian activities.

She owned a company known as “Mimi’s local food shop” where she marketed foodstuffs readily prepared for immediate cooking.
